What's in The News Today

The two Americans held in Iran's jail for two years was released today. Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer are headed to the airport and Switzerland is the go between the U.S. and Iran. Switzerland represents the U.S. due to no diplomatic relations with Tehran the capital of Iran. The two Americans were arrested for espionage.

A Georgia inmate wants a polygraph test before he is executed today. Troy Davis a convicted cop killer and is scheduled to be executed today. He agreed to take a polygraph test if he is pardoned after the results of test. He will receive the injection at 7 p.m. and didn't want a last meal, but instead just wants time with his family. Davis has many supporters including Jimmy Carter, former FBI director and Pope Benedict XVI. There was no DNA or blood that linked him to the crime.

A drug traffickers in Mexico the state of Veracruz dumps 35 bodies. The bodies were dumped during rush hour beneath a busy overpass. The gunmen pointed weapons at petrified drivers. Some of the bodies had black plastic bags over their heads that showed signs of torture.  There were also 12 women among those dead bodies.
