What's in The News Today

A terror attack against the United States is a real threat. There are three men planning to attack the U.S. for the 10th anniversary of 911. They have been in The U.S. since August. U.S. intelligence are on a manhunt for these three men. The attacks are targeting Washington, D.C. and New York using car bombs in crowded areas, tunnels and bridges. The terrorist may be U.S. citizens well at least one is and warning they may be driving in a van and middle eastern descent.

A ship sank in Tanzania. An over crowed tourist ship carrying 600 people sank in the deep sea. Many tourist refuse to ride on the ship because it was overloaded. It sank in an area of heavy currents and deep sea between Tanzania and Pemba Island at 1 a.m. on Saturday. The ship was carrying many children. A 15-year-old who was rescued as he clung to a plank of wood stated "he knew there was something wrong with the vessel when it began to sway back in forth and he became very dizzy and then the ship fell to its side." The ship sank leaving 45 dead, 230 rescued and 370 are still missing.

Americans are being asked to be vigilant, "don't stop living, but be aware of your surroundings. Report anything that looks suspicious and this may go on for months. Americans don't let your guards down and the next terror attack may be car bombs. Report unattended cars like you did at Times Square."
