What's in The News Today

More than 1,000 people are evacuated in Pennsylvania living near the Susquehanna river. The river is expected to crest at 41 feet today between the hours of 4PM-8PM. Residents should prepare for a 72 hour evacuation. New York residents are also evacuating near Susquehanna and Chenango rivers in Binghamton.

In California Amazon has another year before they have to start charging state sales tax. On Wednesday state legislative and Amazon agreed to a tentative agreement that Amazon does not have to charge sales tax until September 2012.

Russians are searching for the black box of the plane that crashed and killed a hockey team. The crash killed 36 players. Air safety records are blaming aging fleet, weak government controls and poor pilot training and cost cutting for the crash.
