Two flights were escorted by jet fighters. An American Airline  flight 34 from LAX to JFK on 9/11 had military jet fighters following it all the way to NY. Flight attendants got suspicious when three people made continuous trips to  the bathroom. Another flight 623 of Frontier Airlines also had military escort F-16's when a man and woman were in the bathroom a long time. Both flights landed without incident and everyone was cleared.

The World Trade Center Memorial is open to the public today. Yesterday the Memorial Ground Zero in lower Manhattan was opened to the families that lost a loved one on 9/11 and today it is open to the public. Walls of the memorial have each person's name in engraved on brass parapets. A waterfall washes over the granite that holds all the names that perished on that day. The walkway leading to the Memorial has over 400 hundred trees that etches the walkway. A 9/11 museum is expected to open within a year and in coming years a transportation hub and shopping areas will connect underground. The project is estimated to be completed by 2015.
