What's in The News Today

A teenager pretends to be a physical assistant at a Florida hospital. Matthew Scheidt worked at the  hospital as a billing clerk. He convinced emergency officials that he was a medical student and attempted to preform CPR on a patient. He also gave physical exams on male patients and injury lawyers are preparing to take action.

Tropical Lee is slamming Louisiana and rainfall is expected to be 10 to 20 inches. People in the region are too familiar what could happen and Katrina memories are still quite fresh for many. The state is under emergency and flooding is a primary concern and if levees will withstand all the rain.

Typhoon hits Japan killing 20 people and several still missing. The typhoon caused mudslides and heavy rains and 460,000 people were evacuated and 3,600 were stranded by flooded rivers, landslides, and collapsed bridges. Three homes were buried by the landslides and one woman dead and several are missing. Seven people went missing when their home was swepted away by the flooded river.
