What's in The News Today

A Colorado logger cuts off his toes when a six-ton trailer falls on him. Jon Hutt was working alone when the trailer fell on him. He was in severe pain and no one could hear his cries. He had a pocket knife and started to cut his toes off in order to free himself. He said "it hurt so bad that he would cut and then stop for a while." He freed himself and wrapped his foot with his shirt and drove for help. He drove 175 miles and was finally in cell phone range. A ambulance met him and took him to the hospital. The doctors were not able to reattach his toes, due to the toes being too mangled.
