What's in The News Today

More flooding in the Midwest N. Dakota residents are evacuated due to the rising of
the Souris River.  Residents were told to leave today by 6PM in the city of Minot. Heavy rains and dam releases are causing the river to over flow above sea level of 1, 559 currently the river is 1, 555.

Two jumbo jets almost collided on Monday at JFK in New York.  An EgyptAir pilot did not follow instructions from the tower and made a wrong turn onto the path of a Lufthansa flight going 180 mph as it was getting ready for take off.  An air traffic controller shouted "Cancel take off ! Cancel take-off plans!" The pilot slammed on the brakes of  the Lufthansa flight bound for Munich with 286 passengers. The plane was inspected for it's brakes, which caused an 1 hour and 40 minute delay. EgyptAir refused to comment.

A man goes on a shooting spree at an Long Island pharmacy as he steals drugs. It began Sunday morning at Haven Drugs at about 10:20 a.m.. A man with a backpack entered the pharmacy and started shooting everyone in his path as he stoled prescription drugs. He killed four people including the pharmacist.
