What's in The News Today

A bounce house flies through the air with children in it at a New York soccer event. A strong wind picked up the bounce house and lifted off the ground and it came crashing down hitting several people on the field. Thirteen people were injured and treated.

A Miami mom tries to drown her children and a fisherman attempts to save the children. Shirley Jean 24-years - old is charged with premeditated murder. She swerved off the road and drove into the water. Three fisher man saw her and her 7- year -old daughter in the water and she wouldn't let them near her. She even tried to bite one of the fisherman as he reached for the girl. When the police arrived they found the mother pushing the girls head in the water. They jumped into the water and rescued the girl and her two-year - old brother who was also in the car. Her neighbors cannot believe that she would do anything to hurt her children and stated that "she is a good mother."

A new strain of E.coli leaves 3 Americans in the hospital after they visited Germany a month ago and a fourth person has bloody diarrhea.  Nineteen people died in Europe and 2, 000 have been infected. In Germany there have been 573 cases of hemolytic uremic syndrome (kidney failure) causes hemorrhaging in the intestines. The strain originated in Spain from cucumbers, but they are now suggesting and warning people not to eat raw (not cooked) vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce).
