What's in The News Today

A 5- year-old girl married a 8-year-old boy in India this is quite common in different countries. The two will not live together until the girl is in puberty and at child bearing age. Many girls die due to being to young to have children. Parents allow this to happen because they think that this will prevent the wrong person marrying their children and at times a business transaction. Marriages cannot be done in India until the age of 18- years-old.  Marriages that are done before the age of 18 are done at night and kept a secret.
