What's in The News Today

United Airlines had technical problems that caused planes to remain grounded. A computer glitch with a network connection seems to be the culprit. The problem was resolved at midnight after hours of troubleshooting. The airline asked all their customers to reboot their itinerary without penalty and are accommodating customers that were stranded. The computer problem disrupted scheduling of departures, reservations and processing passengers once they arrive at the airport, which left many passengers stranded for hours. One customer stated that "he knew there was a problem when the plane he was on was taxiing for at least an hour on the runway." Many airports were crowed with long lines and United Airlines customers were sitting on the floor. Customers were frustrated and wish they were given more information about what was going on.
