What's in The News Today

New York has been the sixth state that has made gay marriages legal. Mayor Bloom will attend the first wedding of his senior aides. As John Fasinblatt his chief policy adviser and Jonathan Mintz his Commissioner  of Consumer Affairs get married. Bloomberg stated he is "officiating the wedding because he feels it will send a message to the world that New York is open to everyone."

A bullet train collision kills 35 people in China. A power outage from a lightening storm forced the bullet train to come to a complete stop, while and another bullet train traveling in the same direction slammed in the back of the train. The crash caused 4 cars of the train to fall off an elevated bridge. Many of the passengers stated "they had to smash windows to climb out of the train. Some cars were so severely twisted that it was impossible to see how many people were trapped inside." The train that was struck was carrying 1,300 to 1,400 passengers.

China is a fraud with counterfeit Apple stores. China is notorious for making counterfeit clothing, purses and gadgets. The country decided to take it up a notch when they opened Apple stores. An American couple stumbled across three stores that are shamming Apple in Kunming, a southern Yunnan province. The 27-year-old American stated that "the employees believed that they worked for Apple."
