What's in The News Today

A teenage boy is bitten by a bear while he was sleeping in his tent and managed to fight him off. The bear manage to make his way into the tent and bite the boys leg and the boy and others at the camp chased the bear away. The boy was taken to the hospital with deep lacerations on his leg from the bear's bite. Wildlife officials killed the bear and have stated "when a bear enters a tent and attacks a sleeping person then that bear becomes dangerous and public safety takes preference."

Documents found in bin Laden's compound have indicated a plot to kill President Obama. The document alluded to attacking the plane that President Obama and General Petraeus would be on together. The document also referred to the 10th anniversary of 911 and attacking the U.S. during that time. U.S. intelligence also "stated that bin Laden focused on attacking Americans."

Little Leiby Kletzky who was brutally murdered in a hasidic area of Brooklyn, assemblyman Dov Hikind  are warning parents to tell their children not to trust strangers. A woman stated after the death of Leiby that the "murderer tried to get her son into his car, but she never reported it." Leiby might have gone off with the stranger that murdered him because he might have looked like someone that he could trust. Many hasidic Jews  resemble each other with the long beards and wearing beanies. Parents are being warned to inform children not to trust someone even if they appear to look like someone you can trust.
