An Australian law will force Muslim woman to remove their veil upon request by law officials. The new law was proposed by the government of New South Wales and will include Sydney. A woman who refuses to remove her veil and show their face will go to prison. The sentence can be as long as 1 year in jail and fined $5,500 to $5,900. Muslims are fast-growing minorities in Sydney and Melbourne. This law was initiated after a Muslim woman accused a  traffic police officer of pulling off  her veil and she claimed it was provoked because of racism. The video footage was reviewed and uncovered that she was the one that aggressively berated "Fogerty" the police officer and she refused to show her face.

A Florida football coach teacher has been charged murder in Las Vegas, Nevada. The wife of the coach said that her husband was defending himself when he punched an Utah man "John Massie." He fell after being punched, which caused head injuries that were fatal. Leticia Hawkins the wife of Benjamin Hawkins stated that "Massie would not leave her husband alone." Benjamin told police that Massie commented "a black man in a yellow shirt." He told Massie "to shut up," but it continued into the food court at an Irish theme casino.
Hawkins is black and Massie is white and racism doesn't seem to be the motive. Reviewing of the video tape will show the confrontation between the two men. A bail hearing is scheduled for Tuesday. This is the third slaying on the Las Vegas strip within two weeks. The other two were fatal stabbings and one was along the pedestrian walkway between casinos.
