Obama attacked the oil companies during his address to the nation and states "no more tax breaks for them" while consumers are struggling to fill up their gas tanks oil companies are making huge profits. Some oil companies reported earnings of $25 billion in the first few months of this year. A letter to the congressional leaders from Obama urges an immediate action for the tax subsidies and the revenue should be invested in a clean energy program and to reduce America's reliance on foreign oil.

Six babies are dead from tainted milk powder in China. Authorities uncovered illegal food additives that is used for  quick profits regardless of health risk. Dozens have been arrested since 2008 and a dairy farmer and salesman executed. Authorities seized 23 tons of melamine-tainted milk powder from ice cream maker, which killed 6 infants when the chemical was used in infant formula. The tainted powder was stored in a warehouse and traced back to a company in Mongolia. Since 2008, 6 infants died and 300,000 children became ill after consuming the tainted formula. China sentenced 14 to jail and two were given a  life sentence for selling the tainted milk powder.

The royal couple celebrated Friday evening at Buckingham Palace with 300 friends. They continued their celebration the evening after their lunchtime reception.  Their closest friends and family were invited to the evening celebration at the palace. The party was hosted by the Prince of Wales. Kate's evening and wedding gown created by Sarah Burton was absolutely gorgeous. The couple are on their way to their secret honeymoon for the weekend.
