Inspirational Friday

A boy without hands gets penmanship award Nicholas Maxim a fifth grader won the national award for handwriting. Nicholas holds the pencil between his arms that ends above where the elbow would be. Nicholas was born with arms that end above the elbow and one leg that ends above the knee. His determination has proven to him that he can live without full arms and a leg. He once asked for arms and a leg from Santa, but was told that "Santa must follow Gods plan for him." His sister Sarah states that "her brother inspires her."

Fire Departments will devote their training to resuscitate animals one fire department is already prepared. Ashland Fire Department in Oregon is equipped with 12 animal oxygen masks and 26 men and women trained to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets, birds, gerbils and reptiles.

A homeless mans builds a car out of junk 'Orismar de Souza' 35 years old is from Brazil. He would panhandle in Brazil to get money. He went hungry for months to raise $270.00 to buy sheet metal which was his initial start in shaping his car. The "shrimpmobile"mostly a  Fiat can reach speeds of 50 mph. He is no longer homeless and has a job working in sugarcane fields "thanks to his self perseverance"

A dolphin saves a dog a 11 year old Doberman Pincher "Turbo" goes missing for 15 hours.  Turbo went missing when the gate of his home was left opened on Marco Island. Dolphins were persistent with alerting a neighbor who jumped into a canal to save Turbo and the dolphins stayed with the pooch until he was saved.
