What's in The News Today

President Obama will be in Los Angeles today, his first stop will be Culver City, CA. He is visiting the West Coast for his 2012 fundraiser reelection campaign. He was in San Francisco yesterday and met with Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook. President Obama walked into Facebook's headquarters and within an hour Mark and Obama took off their suit jackets as President Obama spoke at a town- hall meeting that gathered at Facebook.

Major League Baseball takes over the Dodgers baseball team, due to finances. Frank Court's nasty divorce is a contributing factor for the Dodgers finances. The Dodgers are in the red of 459 million dollars. Frank asked "for a loan of 30 million dollars to pay the players and staff members." The mangers and players of the Dodgers stated that "it won't affect them" fans feel that this a positive move. Dodger's stadium is down 11% in sales associated with the stadium attendance.

Pipe bomb found in a Colorado mall, which occurred on the 12th year anniversary of Columbine High School shootings. A pipe bomb and propane tanks were found at the Southwest Plaza Mall in Colorado. No one was injured and the bomb did not explode. April 20, 1999, is a memory that some parents and family members do not want to remember. Two students when on a killing spree at Columbine High School they killed 12 students and one teacher. The killers also placed pipe bombs down in various areas of the school, which many did not explode. The mall was a mile away from the high school. The FBI released a photo of a possible suspect, a white male with gray hair and a mustache,  wearing a dark cap, stripped shirt and blue jeans. The surveillance video showed this man carrying a white plastic bag going through a corridor that the public does not use.
