What's in The News Today

Hilary Clinton visits Japan's disaster area and gives her sympathy to Japan officials and Prime Minister Takeaki Matsumoto.  Japan's economy was the topic and talks about a private sector and government initiatives to boost Japan's economy, but no explanation how she plans to do it. Prime Minister
Matsumoto also thanked Hilary for the United States around the clock support during the disaster.

More than 30 people died after tornado's ripped across Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Carolina's and Virginia. More than 60 tornadoes hit North Carolina. A state emergency was declared in North Carolina and Alabama.  Alabama's power transformers caught on fire and left many without electricity. Many that were killed were in North Carolina's mobile home parks.

Nicolas Cage is arrested for domestic violence. He was charged for disturbing the peace
 and public intoxication outside of his home in New Orleans. He was released on bail and will return back to court on May 31, 2011.
