What's in The News Today

Penn State students riot once they heard that the head football coach was fired.  Joe Paterno football coach is the center of attention for the sex abuse charges against Jerry Sandusky. Joe Paterno was aware of the sexual abuse by Sandusky on young boys that continued for 15 years, but didn't say anything to anyone.  Joe Paterno is well liked and the students rioted when the decision to fire Paterno was released. Over two thousand people rioted and were violent as they flipped over a media van and destroyed property. Paterno was planning to retire after the season, but he will not be able to complete the season. He asked the students to be calm and respect the property of the university and he is grateful to have worked with all the people that he loved.

Did  presidential candidate Perry make a fool out of himself when he couldn't answer a question at the republican debate? Rick Perry said that he would cut three agencies from the federal government to save money. When he asked to name the three agencies he could only name two. He claims that is was a lapse of memory and he is not a good debater. He has had many gaffes in the debate as far back as last summer when he entered into the race.

Wilson Ramos is abducted from his home in Venezuela. Ramos played for the Aragua Tigers  and is 24-years-old. He was kidnapped by four armed men and was taken away in a SUV. There has been no demands for ransom.
