What's in The News Today

Three earthquakes rattle Oklahoma. A 4. 7 earthquake shook through central Oklahoma a.m. hours on Saturday. The quake was located 45 miles of Oklahoma City. Another two earthquakes followed a 3.4 and a 2.7 within an hour of the first quake. There were no injuries or damage reported.

A astroid is headed our way. The astroid is not expected to hit the earth, but it will pass us on Tuesday at 11:13 p.m, eastern time. The massive chunk of black rock is as big as four city blocks and traveling at 30, 000 miles an hour. The astroid will be 200,000 miles away when it passes the earth. A six inch telescope should be able to spot the astroid on Tuesday when it passes the earth. The astroid is 1,300 feet in diameter and will be traveling eastward around the sun.

A thief went to the wrong hotel to hold up. The attempt occurred at 11:40 p.m. at a hotel in Los Angeles
The suspect was confronted by martial art experts during a MMA convection that was taking place at the hotel. The suspect put a gun to the clerk and two men from the MMA convention came to his rescue and held him until the police got there.
