What's in The News Today

More than 4.5 million are without electricity on the east coast from Hurricane Irene. The city of Troy in Albany is fearing that a fragile dam may collapse. The city was evacuated the dam is located east of the Hudson River.

Gadhafi's wife (Aline) brutally assaulted her child's nanny because she refused to hit the child because she wouldn't stop crying.  Aline got outraged and poured boiling water over the nanny's head.
