What's in The News Today

Five killed when a concert stage collapsed while attending a State Fair in Indiana. The country group "Sugarland" was going to appear that evening and as everyone was waiting a strong wind traveling 60 to 70 mph blew in. This caused the stage made of scaffolding, canvas and stage lights to come crashing down, killing 5 people and several people are in critical condition.

Meat recall for E. Coli in ground beef. The meat is processed by National Beef Packaging Company of Dodge City, Kansas sold in the Southeast at Kroger, Winn-Dixie and Publix grocery stores. No reports of illness, E. Coli can cause bloody stools, diarrhea and even death.

San Francisco's transit-system has been hacked. Hackers were able to hack the website of San Francisco's mass-transit system on Sunday. The hackers known as "Anonymous" posted 2,000 subscribers information in retaliation for preventing a protest, due to a fatal shooting of a 45-year-old man by police. The transit officials blocked underground cell phone use to prevent protester to use social networking to come together. The hackers posted subscribers email addresses, street addresses and phone numbers.
