What's in The News Today

Texas's drought has caused for desperate solutions. The town of Big Spring, is so dry that they are seriously considering to recycle toilet water for 27,000 residents. They will take the waste that gets dumped into a creek and will blend it with supplied potable water. They had less than 0.1 inches of rain for months.

The three siblings from Florida are captured in Colorado. Grace, Ryan & Dylan Dougherty  were wanted for a bank robbery and shooting at a police officer in Florida. They have been on the run since August 2, 2011. They were equipped with military type weapons and didn't hesitate to use them. They were chased at high speeds by the police and crashed. They tried to escape police, but Grace was shot in the leg and the capture of one of the brothers were succeeded by 3 construction workers.

A new Leukemia cure is on the rise. Gene therapy that uses patent's own blood cells tracks down the infected cells and destroys them. They have tested three patients and two are cancer free and the other one showed improvement.
