A newborn died and it has been connected to a bacteria possibly in Enfamil formula. Ten- day- old Avery Cornett had a rare bacteria "Cronobacter sakakii when he was taken to the hospital with the signs of being lethargic. Avery was fed the Enfamil Newborn powder that was bought at Wal-mart in Lebanon, Missouri. The batches were tested and the bacteria was not found. Water that is mixed with the powder will undergo a series of test. Wal-mart has pulled over more than 3,000 of the infant formula off its shelves. Parents are being reminded to sterilize all feeding equipment in hot soapy water and use the bottles for only one feeding and then sterilize again.
