What's in The News Today

Is it a UFO? A NASA spacecraft has captured a odd image near plant Mercury and many are claiming that it could have been a UFO. The image was captured on December 1, and it had a huge coronal mass ejection streaming from the sun. The image appeared to be quite large and bright.

The moon disappeared on the West Coast in the U.S. on Saturday. Images from Seattle showed that the "moon's crescent waning from a Cheshire cat's grin to a shadowy sliver" and then it disappeared. It happens when the moon is at its peak in a deep red and total eclipse was at 6:30 a.m. Pacific time.

Gunman shoots at drivers in Hollywood, California. Tyler Brehm a 26-year-old began shooting at pedestrians and motorist at 10:30 a.m. at Vine Street between Sunset Boulevard and Delongpre. Brehm was walking the streets with a gun in his hand and pointing his gun at passing cars. He shot a man in the jaw and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. An off deputy was one of the first responders and the suspect was shot four times and died at the scene.
