What's in The News Today

A 7-year-old boy fights to be a Girl Scout. Bobby Montoya in Denver, Colorado likes to dress up like a girl and plays with girl toys. He was told that he could not be a girl scout and he was very upset by the refusal and even cried. The mother said that the troop leader "will not let Bobby join the Girl Scouts because he has male counter parts and  the Girl Scouts is exclusive to girls."

Girls switched at birth wants to stay with the mother's that raised them. Two girls the ages of 12 were given to the wrong parents at birth. The families of both became suspicious when the girls did not look like family members. They were raised only a few miles away from each other in the town of Kopeisk, Russia. Their identities were discovered when one of the father's refused to pay child support because his daughter did not look like him. Several DNA test were conducted on both parents and it turns out neither one were Irina Belyaeva parents. They searched for their own daughter and that is when they discovered that another woman gave birth the same day 15 minutes apart  from Irina's mother. The girls are happy to have found each other, but they want to stay with their families that raised them. The families are suing the hospital for $160,000 in damages.

The half brothers of missing baby Lisa are going to be questioned. Eleven- month- old Lisa Irwin has been missing since October 4, 2011 and her mother was the last one to see her alive at 6:40 p.m.. Deborah Bradley also admitted to being drunk at the time Lisa went missing. The boys were home the evening baby Lisa vanished. The boys are Lisa's father, but Deborah Bradley is not the mother of the boys. The boys are 8 and 5 years old and will be interviewed by a "child services specialist trained to interview children."
