What's in The News Today

Today is judgement day for Amanda Knox. She pleaded to the court today in the final closing of her appeal. She stated" she was innocent and that she did not kill Meredith Kercher her Italian roommate." Today's results of the appeal: Amanda will be released, sentenced to life in prison or a lesser charge then murder. She had already served 4 years to a 26 year sentence for the murder of her roommate in a Italian prison in Perugia, Italy.

Two planes in Boston are forced to land for severe turbulence. A Lufthansa flight from Charlotte, N.C. to Munich, Germany was forced to land in Boston. An airline spokesperson said that 5 people were injured from severe turbulence. Two of those people were hospitalized. Another airline "Jet Blue"  landed at Logan airport in Boston and 9 passengers also suffered from turbulence. The airline was coming from Puerto Rico.

Banks want to charge every time a person uses a debt card. The banks that want to start the fees are Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
