Greenpeace is reporting that Fukushima Dalichi nuclear plant in Japan that was damaged from the earthquake and tsunami is effecting marine life. Japan has stated that "radioactive contaminates are declining and seafood is at safe levels for consumption." Greenpeace disagrees with their information and on contrary that the levels of radiation in marine life is above legal limits for food contamination.  Laboratories in France and Belgium tested samples and concluded that high levels of radioactive iodine and cesium were found. Fish, shellfish and seaweed are consumed daily in Japan and are part of the marine life that tested high for radiation.
