What's in The News Today

Obama is hesitating about releasing Osama bin Laden's photos. For the fear of retaliation and popularizing the death of Osama. Many of Osama's followers would resent the gruesome pictures circling around the world and it may initiate terrorism attacks on the U.S.. Some of the photos consist of a gunshot hole in the forehead of Osama, and the deaths of his son, the courier and the courier's brother.

The Mississippi River reached levels of 43.8 feet on Tuesday and is expected to reach 48 ft. by May 11. Flood fears brought emergency evacuation of 920,000 residents. A levee along the Mississippi River was blown up by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to safe a small Illinois town. The Levee caused a 200 square mile flooding in southeast Missouri a farmland community in Mississippi county.

A 65 year old woman is missing from the Celebrity Millennium cruise ship. She was last seen on Monday night as it sailed into San Diego from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The shipped reached San Diego on Tuesday morning when customs realized that the woman was missing.
