What's in The News Today

Japan's radiation levels spike 10 million times higher than normal inside reactor two. The levels were so high that the workers had to withdraw from taking another reading.  Officials in Japan have blamed that the water was contaminated inside the reactor and that is what caused the high radiation reading. They don't know where the water is coming from, but are certain that some of the radioactive water is seeping through a cracked reactor core. Japan's nuclear safety agency states "that each reactor has tons of radioactive water." Seawater around the reactors have been tested and have climbed from 1,250 higher than normal to 1,850 just in the past weekend.

For all of Chat Me More's followers you are aware that we are following the story of Amanda Knox. She was a college student studying abroad who was accused of killing her roommate. Amanda is appealing her faith  of 25 years in prison. The eye witness Antonio Curatolo gave a conflicted testimony on Saturday, first he said  "he saw Amanda on Nov1, but then he changed it to Halloween." The roommate was not killed on Halloween, but her body was found Nov 2. Curatolo is currently in prison for dealing heroin, charged in 2003, and stated that "he has always done drugs." The next appeal date is May 21, and DNA will be presented and another witness Rudy Guede who was  convicted in a role of the same murder that Amanda is being accused of is now serving 16 years.  We want to remind our followers that Italy's juridical system beliefs that you are guilty until proven innocent, what this means is you go to jail first, then you have a trial to prove your innocence.
