President's Day
The day started 1880 to honor George Washington's birthday, February 22. The holiday was expanded to honor all presidents. Some presidents in the past celebrated their birthdays differently.

- Warren Harding was elected on his birthday.
- Franklin Roosevelt was known for throwing fundraiser parties for a cure for polio and found relief from the paralyzed disease that inflicted his life at Warm Springs in Georgia. He used Warm Springs as an annual birthday ball and it raised millions of dollars for the March of Dimes.
- Harry Truman used the Situation Room in the White House as a bowling Alley, in 1947 he received the bowling alley from supporters and his state of Missouri. The bowling alley was moved 15 years later to the building next door 1955. President Nixon and first lady Pat Nixon were avid players and installed a new one in the building's basement.
- Lyndon Johnson gave himself a party on stage in Atlantic City, New Jersey at the Democratic National Convention on his 56th birthday. He gave his acceptance speech.
