Seven people caught plotting a massive attack on British mainland. British police stated that "the planning of mass-casualty were in advanced stages." The police also said "that they believe that the al-Qaida was behind the plan." The arrest were made in Birmingham at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. The raids were in a highly populated Muslim neighborhood.

Greece is expected to run out of money within a month. Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou canceled his trip to the U.S. in order to manage Greece's crisis. Bail out money from other countries may not rescue Greece with the fear of Greece defaulting. The next installment for bail out money is scheduled for October.

California nursing school student's decomposed body is found. Michelle Le has been missing since May. She went on a break from her nursing class at Hayward Hospital in Alameda County and never returned. A former friend of Le's has been arrested Giselle Esteban with DNA evidence and phone records. Esteben has admitted to hating Le because she was friend's of her child's father. She denied having anything to do with Le's murder. Surveillance video shows Esteban before and after the crime scene. Traces of blood from Esteben was found in Le's car and Le's DNA was found on Esteban shoes.
Cell phones records showed that the phones of both woman were in the same area, after Le's death.
