A boy who suffers from seizures helps to raise money for a service dog. Evan Moss is an epileptic and his seizures start without any warnings. The parent's are frightened that they have Evan sleep with them. The parent's are exhausted all the time. A service dog can detect a seizure and alert Evan's parents, but that cost $13,000. They decided to raise money and the usual options were discussed: 5K run, dinner and selling lemonade. Evan wrote part of his application for the dog and the parent's thought they would publish it as a book. They would sell each copy for $10.00 and they would only need to sell 150, but Evan sold 10x the amount of "My Seizure Dog". It turns out they didn't need profits of the book, due to donations equalling $26,000 came in. The extra money and proceeds from the book selling allowed 4 families to get service dogs.
