Man stops kidnapping in Albuquerque New Mexico and he is being recognized as a hero. Antonio Diaz-Chacon is the hero and he is getting national praise. He has been sent cards and gift cards for his heroic measure to rescue a 6-year-old girl. Good things are happening to him in return. His washing machine was broken at the time of the kidnapping and he was using his mother-in-laws washer, and in front of her house is where Phil Garcia abducted the girl. Antonio got into his pick-up truck and followed Garcia and chased him until Garcia crashed and grabbed the girl out of van. Antonio was telling his story to the press and a lady who remains anonymous from Utah called Lowe's and asked them to fix his washer. Lowe's agreed and is going to repair any appliance that the Diaz-Chacon family needs to be fixed.

The eighteen month old child who was hospitalized, after the crash continued to asked for Caesar. The family thought the dog was gone forever. Until they received a call earlier this month from a animal shelter volunteer in Tucumcari, New Mexico, stated that "Caesar was scanned for a micro-chip." He did have one and that allowed him to be reunited with his family. Caesar did remember the family and they stated "it was an amazing evening when he returned home."
