A woman is saved minutes before she is about to get smashed by a freight train. A New York woman (Laurie Eldridge) who was working in her garden witnessed a car driving over train tracks near her home. The car got stuck and Laurie ran to the aid of the woman who refused to get out of the car. Laurie put her hand through the partial opened window of the car and unlocked the door and dragged the 81-year-old disoriented woman from the car, seconds before the train side swiped the car. The train was traveling speeds of 40 mph.
