Charlie Sheen in the News again he is going to sue CBS for 300 million dollars for a "radical breech of contract." Sheen agreed to take a at-home drug urine test for ABC and it did come back negative.  He agreed to take a weekly drug test if CBS would allow him to return to work. He also apologized for the misunderstanding of anti-Semitic remarks.

The Women from The UK who contaminated three airports with the measle virus did make another stop and that was through BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport near Baltimore. The name of all the cities that she came in contact with are Denver, DC, Albuquerque, and Baltimore.

Saudi Student targeted Bush, and many other plans to create havoc, car bombs in NY and dam blowing up in Colorado and California. The FBI arrested the student from tips that they received from North Carolina and Texas supply companies that the student bought Phenol to make explosives. They found explosive chemicals and a hazmat suit in his apartment which were purchased from Amazon. com. He was on a student visa since 2008, from Saudi Arabia.

14 Month Old Toddler gets trapped in bank vault in Georgia. The bank was not scheduled to open until the morning. There was only 9 hours of oxygen so time was at
  the essences. They called in a special vault cracker that could break through the vault. The baby was rescued within three hours after she was locked in the vault. They found her laying down and unharmed.

What's in The News Today

A Women from the UK contaminated 3 US Cities with Measles on Tuesday while traveling through US airports the cities are Denver, DC and Albuquerque. Measles are a respiratory disease which can be dangerous to the very young and the elderly. Most of the people in the United States have been vaccinated or had the measles, but the CDC is still concerned about an outbreak. Measles is the most communicable disease it can travel through the air and spread to large areas. Deaths from the disease are reported yearly and 60% of cases are reported throughout the world with the disease.

Sanctions on Libya from the US are in the making assets have already been frozen which will effect Gadhafi, and 4 of his family members. Gadhafi has no intentions of giving up his country not without  dying for it and threatens to use mass destruction.

The Miracle wedding will still go on a bride who was trapped under the rubble in New Zealand's  devastating earthquake was rescued after texting her fiance. He and a search crew continued until they found her. They did continue with their wedding plans and got married.

Gadhafi blames the al-Qaida and Bin Laden for giving the protesters hallucinogens. The state department is sending a cargo plane to rescue the Americans that are trapped in Libya. Some Americans are on their way to Malta on a ferry from Libya.

Show is suspended for the season by CBS and Warner bros. Sheen also states that he has a deal with HBO called "Sheen's Corner" which would pay him 5 million an episode. He gets paid 1 million per episode for "Two and a Half Men."

What's in The News Today

Is your cell phone cooking your brain? Researchers may have discovered that cell phones may be harmful to the brain. A cell phone does have radiation frequency and can increase activity in specific areas of the brain. The study has not confirmed that this can cause brain cancer. The study did show that glucose levels in parts of the brain closest to the cell phone antennae were 8 to 10% higher than when the cell phone was shut off.  A hands-free device could be an alternative solution when using a cell phone and do not sleep with the cell phone under your pillow. Children are more at risk due to their brains are still developing.

Credit Card Scanners can go through a purse and a pocket the RFID scanner is the same device that the check out clerk scans at the register. Radio waves can go through almost every material, brick, glass and wood. The thieves therefore steals credit card information and then goes on a shopping spree via Internet. By placing a piece of aluminum foil as a lining  the waves cannot go through and the credit card numbers are not read.

Beyonce and Usher also sang for a News Year Eve party. The question is why? They didn't need the money. They are being "criticized for preforming and accepting money from a violent oppressive regime."

Italy's foreign minister Franco Frattini stated that a 1,000 people have been killed in Libya.  Gadhafi  gave orders to security forces to blow up oil pipelines that will cut off flows to the Mediterranean.  Gadhafi
vowed to "fight to the last drop of blood" he also accused the protest on foreigners. He threatened  "he would unleash a massive crackdown if protester don't stop." Gadhafi has been in power for 42 years in Libya.

Pirates Kill American Hostages negotiations were said to be occurring, but pirates still killed the two couples from the United States, Jean and Scott Adams from California and Phyllis Macay and Robert Riggle of Seattle,  Washington. The Navy ship that was tracking the vessel heard gunshots at 1AM eastern time. When they went aboard they found the two couples shot and 19 pirates. They killed two of the pirates and brought the remaining into custody.

New Zealand gets rattled from a 6. 3 earthquake and after shocks of 5.5 and 5.6. Parts of the city of Christchurch was destroyed when buildings came crashing down. Many people are trapped under the rumble. Over 400,000 thousand people live in the city. Eighty percent of the city is without electricity and several roads are destroyed.

Gadhafi refuses to leave Libya and is using mass destruction to kill protesters. Gaghafi has his military using  tanks, air strikes and gunshots to stop the protesters. People are being cut in half from tanks and machine guns. Borders are closed and cell phones and Internet are not available to the people. The Ambassador of Libya is asking for the United States to aid the people of Libya. People are being evacuated from Libya through Portugal, Malta and Egypt. Libya is the 12th largest producers of oil, mostly to Europe, but it has effected the US purchasing by a 9% increase in oil prices. Gas prices at the tanks are at a 6% increase.
